The following tips could help you.
Forbidden the plugin and remove the item name “clcs_smilies” in table named “wp_options” from DB.
After that, reactivate the plugin.

When you activate the plugin, it will convert the init.php to DB.

seem it not the plugin problem wordpress problem I disabled the plugin the smilies still show on edit comments pages, but still need to renable back init.php or a way to conver the init.php smiles to DB

bug? I don’t know. but I found on 2.7, In comments pages (dashboard) it will show the smilies at the top it should not do that

and how can I make it use init.php instead of DB? it a hassle to convert all my init.php smiles to DB

最新的SVN版下没有问题。RC也应该是没有问题的。

WP 2.7 RC2下

安装Custom Smilies 2.3后，则可视化编辑器的按钮不能显示。禁用Custom Smilies 2.3后一切正常。

反复测试几遍确实如此！
